Tamanna Joshi

Tamanna Joshi, PhD, currently serves as a Technical Sales Engineer and Scientist at Bluefors, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Howard University from August 2018 to April 2023, where the thesis focused on a first principle study of defects for future technologies, along with serving as a Teaching Assistant responsible for instructing a Physics II recitation class and promoting teamwork among students. Previous roles include a Research Intern at the National Physical Laboratory in mid-2017, where optoelectronic devices were fabricated and device quality investigated, and a Trainee at the Inter-university Accelerator Center in June 2016, focusing on synthesizing and analyzing photodiodes. Education includes a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Howard University, a Master of Science in Physics from Delhi University, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics from Miranda House College.
