Daniel Navarro

Daniel Navarro is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in leading software projects and teams. Currently serving as the Lead Software Developer at BlueHalo since October 2021, Daniel oversees a full-stack team focused on developing physical security software. Previously held roles include Senior Software Engineer at Intelligent Automation, Inc. and Software Engineer, specializing in health and education applications, as well as front-end technologies. Daniel's teaching experience includes positions as a Computer Science Instructor at both District of Columbia Public Schools and Montgomery County Public Schools, where contributions to computer science education were recognized with an Educator Award in 2014 by NCWIT. Earlier in career, Daniel developed literacy software for the US Navy and worked on eBusiness solutions at Paraspar Inc. Academic qualifications include an MEd from The George Washington University and a BSc in Artificial Intelligence with Psychology from The University of Edinburgh.
