Melissa Newstrand has a strong background in technical recruiting and consulting. Melissa currently serves as the Technical Recruiting Lead at Bluehawk Consulting, where they hire talented individuals and manages recruitment processes. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Chief Cheerleader/Partner/Co-Founder at Better U Today, where they played a pivotal role in the company's establishment and growth. Melissa also had extensive experience at Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc., where they served as a Talent Acquisition Manager and Techincal Recruiting Lead. Melissa's achievements include winning the Presidents Club award for 7 consecutive years. Melissa began their career at Robert Half Technology as a Technical Recruiter, and later joined The Selling Source, Inc. as a Corporate Recruiter. Melissa has a strong track record of identifying top IT talent, managing consultant bases, and providing support and direction to clients and candidates.

Melissa Newstrand has attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the College of Southern Nevada. Melissa has obtained certifications in CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) and TSC (Technical Services Certified) from the American Staffing Association, as well as a certification in CIR (Certified Internet Recruiter) from AIRS.
