Waqas Marri started their work experience in 2018 as a Software Developer at MavenSolutions, where they primarily worked on PHP projects using CodeIgniter. Waqas developed management systems for small construction companies and point-of-sale systems for local businesses. Waqas also collaborated on developing Health Applications for a Government Hospital.
In 2019, Waqas joined Udexmedia as a Software Developer, where they gained experience in e-commerce projects. Waqas upgraded projects from CorePHP to Laravel framework with ReactJS frontend and integrated Facebook/Instagram APIs to fetch live comments on e-commerce websites. Waqas also led the development of a third-party application using WhatsApp for marketing solutions.
Currently, Waqas is a Senior Software Engineer at BlueJay Health since November 2020. Waqas contributes to the development of a comprehensive portal for physiotherapy-related services. Their responsibilities include backend development, API creation and maintenance for Android and IOS teams, and enabling telehealth calls.
From 2015 to 2019, Waqas Marri pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences.
