Črtomir Majer

Črtomir Majer started their work experience in 2013 as an Android Engineer at NIMA d.o.o. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Data Research Analyst at Univerza v Mariboru, where they performed data analysis and machine learning modeling. Črtomir then worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at CR3ATIV7 d.o.o for a brief period. In 2014, Črtomir also worked as a Software Developer at Inova IT, where they developed a RESTful API for a music streaming platform.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Research and Development Engineer at the University of Maribor, focusing on natural language processing and text classification solutions. Additionally, they co-authored two research papers during this time.

In 2017, Črtomir joined solicon IT GmbH as a Data Integration Engineer and IT Consultant. There, they worked on in-house stream processing systems and provided consultancy services to Austrian companies regarding data warehousing and data integration solutions.

From 2018 to 2020, Črtomir worked at Cytora, initially as a Data Engineer, responsible for building data transformation and feature extraction pipelines, and later as a Senior Data Engineer in the Data Science team. In this role, they developed various machine learning models and utilized Kubernetes and Airflow for orchestration.

Most recently, Črtomir has been working at BlueLabs since 2020 as an Engineering Lead of the Data Team. Črtomir is leading the development of the Data Platform from scratch, managing the Data Team, and participating in system design. Črtomir'sresponsibilities include building foundations for the Data Warehouse, Messaging System, Stream Processing Pipelines, ELT, and Business Intelligence.

Črtomir Majer has a solid educational background in computer and information sciences. Črtomir started their education in 2006 at Srednja elektro-računalniška šola Maribor, where they studied computer science. After completing their secondary education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor. This program lasted from 2010 to 2013. Following their bachelor's degree, Črtomir continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General. This program spanned from 2013 to 2017. Overall, Črtomir's education has provided him with a strong foundation in the field of computer and information sciences.
