Chris Wegrzyn

CTO at BlueLabs

Chris Wegrzyn is the CTO at BlueLabs. Before that, they were the Director of Data Architecture at the Democratic National Committee from March 2010 to June 2013. There, they led the team responsible for creating technology infrastructure and tools that powered the 2012 Obama for America's Analytics department. Chris also architected the platform of databases and tools that made possible the most extensive analytics operation in political campaign history, and led evaluation of analytics database platforms, which led to the selection of HP Vertica. Additionally, they managed deployment, maintenance, and support of Vertica database that served 100+ direct users throughout the campaign. Prior to their work at the DNC, Wegrzyn was a Web Developer at Voter Activation Network from May 2009 to March 2010, and a Database Application Developer at Obama for America from August 2007 to November 2008. Chris started their career as a programmer at Eaton Vance from October 2006 to July 2007.

Chris Wegrzyn earned a BS in Physics, Mathematics, and Chris'story from Carnegie Mellon University.

Chris Wegrzyn reports to Thomas Gensemer, CEO. and Tim Ryan - Director, Engineering reports to Chris Wegrzyn. They are on a team with Sarah Choong - Polling Manager, Max Dawson - MD, BlueLabs Los Angeles, and Allison Thiriez - Director, People.
