Tim Beatty

Tim received a BS in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and then went on to get a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He worked in the aerospace industry for a few years designing and testing batteries for satellites but decided he wanted to work in an industry that was less risk averse and faster-paced. So, Tim joined Graphiq Inc, a tech startup, which was acquired two years later by Amazon to make Alexa smarter. While working on Alexa, Tim determined he wanted his work to help solve some of the social issues they face today, which is how he found his way to BlueLabs.
