Emily Mclean, CPA

Emily Mclean, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Emily began their career as a Summer Student at the Family Division of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2011. Emily then worked as a Server at Boston Pizza from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, Emily joined Ernst & Young as a Staff Accountant (co-op) and remained in this role until 2014. Emily then moved on to EY in 2015 as an Intermediate Accountant. From 2016 to 2018, Emily worked at Seafair Capital as a Financial Analyst / Assistant controller. Emily currently holds a position at BlueLight Analytics, where they started as an Accounting Manager in 2018 and was later promoted to Financial Controller in February 2020.

Emily Mclean, CPA, began their education at Gonzaga High School from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained their Diploma while specializing in French Immersion. Emily then enrolled at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree in Accounting from 2010 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Emily pursued further education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2015 to 2017, obtaining their CPA designation, specializing in Accounting.
