Awad Mohamed

Awad Mohamed is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and team management. Currently serving as Head of Accounting at Groupe BlueLink since April 2023, Awad oversees a team of five and is responsible for ensuring the accounting reliability of multiple branches globally using Sage 1000. Prior to this role, Awad was the Accounting Team Leader at VERTEX Investment from May 2021 to April 2023, managing eight team members and maintaining accounting integrity. Awad's expertise also includes serving as Finance Accounting Manager at BIOSUPPORT, where responsibilities involved budgeting for research financing, and as Accounting Team Leader at Decathlon Indonesia, where implementation of lean management principles was a key focus. At Decathlon SA, Awad held roles as Financial Accounting Manager and Financial Controller, contributing to the efficiency of treasury processes and financial analyses in Asian production facilities. Awad holds a DUT GEA with a focus on finance and accounting from IUT Lyon 1.
