Christina Leijonhufvud

Christina Leijonhufvud has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christina is currently the CEO of BlueMark, a verification business under Tideline. In this role, they are responsible for developing business strategy, new product development, and managing external relations. Christina also leads the BlueMark team and has completed over 20 verification assignments.

Prior to this, Christina co-founded Tideline in 2014 and served as a Managing Partner. Tideline is a consulting firm that specializes in providing tailored advice for impact investment strategies.

Before joining Tideline, Christina worked at J.P. Morgan from 2007 to 2012, where they served as the Managing Director and Head of Social Finance. Christina was responsible for managing the social finance division.

Christina also has prior experience working as a Consultant at Ashoka and as a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, where they led risk management and country operations.

Christina started their career at the World Bank as a Country Officer, focusing on Central Asian operations.

Overall, Christina has a strong background in impact investment, risk management, and strategic leadership.

Christina Leijonhufvud has an extensive education history in the field of social sciences. Christina began their studies in 1985 at UCLA, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in Political Science. This foundational education provided their with a solid understanding of societal dynamics and political structures.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Christina Leijonhufvud furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs at George Washington University from 1990 to 1992. This program focused on global issues and provided their with a comprehensive understanding of international relations.

Continuing their academic journey, Christina Leijonhufvud attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1995 to 1996. During this period, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Economics, further specializing their knowledge in this field.
