Richie Gleason has extensive experience in the creative industry, working in various roles throughout their career. Richie is currently the Executive Creative Director at Bluemercury, where they have been since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Founding Director of Richie Gleason Creative Consulting from 2017 to 2020, where they focused on building brands in all retail channels. Before that, they were the Digital Creative Director at White House Black Market from 2013 to 2017, responsible for overseeing all digital components of the brand. Richie Gleason also has experience as a Freelance Creative Director, an Associate Creative Director at Laird + Partners, and an Art Director/Photographer at B. BRIAN ATWOOD and RACHEL ROY. Richie began their career as an Artist and Owner of A Blank Project, and as a Graphic Designer at Ocean Star Apparel.

Richie Gleason pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at West Virginia University from 1997 to 2003. During this time, they completed a double major in Graphic Design and Printmaking.
