Shyan Atkins

Shyan Atkins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started in 2013 as a Bakery Clerk at brezel, where they independently ran the bakery and worked with team members during high volume shifts and special events. In 2014, they worked as a Bartender at Columbus Brewing Company/Milestone 229, serving private parties and cocktail events. They also trained new servers and demonstrated excellent customer service.

In 2015, Shyan became an Assistant General Manager at A&R Creative Group, where they scheduled personnel staff, collaborated with the marketing department and local businesses on marketing projects and events, and created training material for staff.

From 2017 to 2019, Shyan worked as a General Manager at brezel, where they created social media content, maintained relations with wholesale customers, and resolved software, hardware, and network issues related to the POS system and delivery service devices.

In 2018, they joined Racksquared Data Centers, LLC as a Data Center Operator, providing first level diagnosis for hardware and software issues, creating tickets for user issues, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. From 2019 to 2021, Shyan took on the role of Desktop Support Specialist at the same company, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting OS, addressing software and hardware issues, and completing projects in a timely manner.

Currently, Shyan is working at BlueOrange Compliance as a Junior Security Analyst and Testing Support. Their responsibilities include conducting client calls, managing Qualys licenses and vulnerability scans, and troubleshooting vulnerability scan issues on both the client and company side.

Since 2015, Shyan Atkins has been attending Columbus State Community College. Shyan is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.
