Eva Schmithausen

Eva Schmithausen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eva began their career as an intern at the Auswärtiges Amt in 2012, where they worked in the Division for German-French Relations. In 2013, they interned at BASF SE in Corporate Communications. In 2014, they worked as an intern at Deutsche Bank in DB Research, focusing on European and Economic Policy.

In 2015, Eva served as an Impact Investing Researcher at the Impact Investing Platform Latin America, affiliated with the University of St. Gallen. The following year, they joined UBS as part of their Group Regulatory and Governance team, working from June 2016 to June 2017. Eva then transitioned to the role of Business Analyst in Global Resolution Strategy at UBS, where they worked from December 2017 to December 2019.

Eva's most recent role was at BlueOrchard Finance Ltd, where they joined in January 2020 as an Associate Vice President in Corporate Development and was promoted to Vice President in February 2022. The end date for their current position is not specified.

Eva Schmithausen's education history begins in 2010 when they started their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in a pluridisciplinary curriculum in social sciences (economics, law, political science, history) at Sciences Po. Eva completed their Bachelor's degree in 2012. In 2012, Eva went on to study at Boston College for a year as an exchange student, focusing on international economics.

In 2013, Eva pursued a Master's of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Economic Policy at Sciences Po, which they completed in 2014. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they attended the University of St.Gallen as part of a Double Degree program with Sciences Po. There, they pursued a Master in International Affairs and Governance.

In terms of additional certifications, Eva obtained a Certificate in Climate and Investing from CFA UK in March 2023. In March 2021, they received both the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK.
