Dr. Alexander Berenbeim has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Alexander is currently an AI/ML Research Scientist at BluePath Labs, affiliated with the Army Cyber Institute, where they focus on designing and implementing neurosymbolic learning & reasoning systems. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Researcher & Technical Consultant at Omnivalence Consulting Group, LLC, where they built an interactive toolkit for data analysis and trained models for forecasting commodity prices and inflation rates. Alexander also served as a management and technical consultant at Bizbumps Inc/LCC, where they were responsible for establishing operations, developing products, and managing software projects.

Dr. Berenbeim also has experience in academia, having worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they taught numerical analysis and graded assignments. Alexander also worked as a Teacher's Assistant at the University of Waterloo.

In addition, Dr. Berenbeim has worked as a Mathematical Consultant at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., where they utilized data mining and statistical modeling techniques. Alexander also owned Western Independent, a company focused on intellectual property acquisition and development, and served as an Independent IT Consultant at Nathan, Bremer, Dumm & Myers, P.C.

Furthermore, Dr. Berenbeim has been involved in various consulting projects, including serving as a Media Consultant at World Science Festival and as a Student Consultant at Grantoo and Prodigy Network. In these roles, they developed pricing models and conducted simulations to optimize revenue.

Alexander Berenbeim, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics and Economics from Columbia University in the City of New York in the period of 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management Science and Engineering at Columbia University from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of Waterloo, where they completed a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree in Pure Mathematics between 2013 and 2014. Continuing their academic journey, Alexander earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, spanning from 2015 to 2021. Additionally, in 2013 to 2015, they acquired a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
