Alyssa Thomas

Alyssa Schaefer Thomas is an accomplished veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree from Midwestern University (AZ), obtained in 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in German Studies from the University of Arizona, completed in 2016. Current experience includes serving as an Emergency Veterinarian at BluePearl Pet Hospital and as an Associate Veterinarian and Rotating Intern at VCA Animal Hospitals. Alyssa has contributed as a Volunteer Veterinarian and Volunteer at Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary, as well as a volunteer with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Additionally, Alyssa was recognized as a Boehringer Ingelheim Veterinary Scholar during the academic tenure at Midwestern University.
