Heather Riggs

Heather Riggs, CVT, has extensive experience in veterinary technology and education, currently serving as a Learning System Specialist, Regional Training Partner, and Veterinary Technician Manager at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital since July 2016. Prior to this role, Heather was the Veterinary Technology Program Chair at Globe Education Network from August 2009 to December 2016, where responsibilities included maintaining compliance with various regulations. Heather has also worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Utah Veterinary Center and progressed from kennel technician to Lead Veterinary Technician at RiverWoods Pet Hospital, where key contributions included staff training and protocol development. Additionally, Heather provided on-site care for performing animals while traveling with Feld Entertainment. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts, English, and Veterinary Nursing from Brigham Young University.
