Marcos Taveira Monteiro

Marcos Taveira Monteiro serves as the Business Development Manager and Head of Analytical Support to Formulation Development at Bluepharma since September 2014, contributing extensive expertise in project management and analytical and formulation development. Previously, from January 2009 to August 2014, Monteiro held roles as an Invited Assistant Professor at both the Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto and the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, teaching subjects related to Phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Water and Food Analysis. Monteiro's academic credentials include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences obtained from the Universidade do Porto between 2010 and 2013, along with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the same institution, earned from 2004 to 2009. Research endeavors include a PhD student fellowship focused on phytochemistry and a grant for studying the synthesis of new compounds with biological potential.
