Velma Bunch

Velma Bunch is a highly experienced medical professional with a robust background in emergency medicine and clinical practice. As the Medical Examiner for the North District at the Virginia Department of Health since March 2019, Velma Bunch has been responsible for time-sensitive case responses and external postmortem examinations. Concurrently, Velma has served as a Physician Assistant at Bluepoint Medical Associates since May 2016, focusing on the development and management of a medical and surgical weight loss clinic. Additionally, since January 2014, Velma has worked as a Staff Practitioner for the Fairfax County Fire Department, collaborating with local officials to promote health initiatives and conducting medical readiness assessments for uniformed personnel.
