Coen van der Meij

Coen van der Meij began their work experience as a Mechanical Engineer at BluePrint Automation (BPA) in March 2020. Coen was responsible for designing mechanisms for new case packers and providing support across various disciplines until the successful installation of the machines at the client's site. Coen also worked as a Monteur from January 2020 to March 2020, handling maintenance duties and resolving machine issues. In 2019, Coen had a vacation work role as a Monteur at BPA, and they also worked as a stagiair mechanical engineer at QBTEC from February 2019 to June 2019. Coen gained valuable knowledge and skills as a Minor student in Machines in Motion at Avans+ from August 2018 to February 2019, focusing on designing and improving machines. Before that, they were a Stagiair Werktuigbouwkunde at Elmar Groep from February 2017 to July 2017, where they learned about machine components and their production. Coen's most recent role is as a Mechanical Engineer aftersales/service at BPA, beginning in January 2022, where they are the point of contact for modifications on previously delivered machines, offering technical solutions and overseeing their implementation with the team. Additionally, Coen worked as an Onderhoudsmonteur at Westfort Vleesproducten from January 2016 to August 2021, ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of machines in the department, as well as resolving any malfunctions or issues.

Coen van der Meij attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in werktuigbouwkunde (mechanical engineering). In August 2017, they obtained a certification in Peer to Peer coaching from Hogeschool Utrecht.
