Matúš Cimerman

Matúš Cimerman has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Matúš is currently working as a Data Science Development Lead at Blueprint Power since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Analytics at Ayanza from May 2021 to April 2023. Matúš also has experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Siemens Healthineers from February 2021 to July 2021. Matúš has previously worked at Blueprint Power as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer from April 2020 to February 2021.

Matúš Cimerman's earlier experience includes roles at Bloomreach, where they served as a Machine Learning Engineer from July 2018 to March 2020, Head of AI from June 2017 to July 2018, and Data Scientist from March 2016 to June 2017. Before that, they gained industry experience as a Business Intelligence Developer Intern at Orange from May 2015 to February 2016, and as a Software Engineer Intern from January 2014 to May 2015. Matúš also worked as a Shop Manager at Trollstigen Drift AS from June 2013 to September 2014.

Matúš Cimerman's education history begins in 2007 when they attended The Secondary Technical School of Jozef Murgaš, where they studied Electrician with a focus on automation technology. Matúš completed their secondary education with a school-leaving examination in 2011.

In 2011, Matúš enrolled at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science. Matúš completed their undergraduate studies in this field in 2015.

Taking their education further, Matúš continued at the same university, attending the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science. Matúš received this degree in 2017.

In 2017, Matúš completed a leadership program at nexteria.sk, where they obtained a degree in Leadership. This program lasted until 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Matúš Cimerman has obtained several certifications. In November 2018, they earned the Professional Data Engineer certification from Google. Matúš then obtained two more certifications from Google in 2019: Professional Cloud Developer in July and Professional Cloud Architect in June.
