Todd Fishburn, Ed.D.

Todd Fishburn, Ed.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of education. Todd is currently the Director of Innovation and Impact at Blueprint Schools Network, where they are responsible for developing and implementing new services, products, and partnerships related to math education. Todd collaborates with other directors to build an effective team that focuses on leveraging high dosage math tutoring to improve student outcomes.

Prior to their current role, Todd served as the Principal of a high-needs level 5 school in Boston that was taken over by the state of Massachusetts in 2014. The state assigned the school to Blueprint Schools Network, a turnaround receiver with expertise in school improvement initiatives. Todd held this position from July 2016 to May 2022.

Before joining Blueprint Schools Network, Todd worked in the Seaford School District, holding various leadership roles. Todd served as the Data, Assessment, and Accountability Specialist from January 2016 to July 2016. Prior to that, they held positions as an Associate Principal and Principal at different times between 2008 and 2016.

From 2002 to 2007, Todd worked as a Technology Integration Specialist in the Seaford School District. Todd also taught Special Education in grades 8, 5, and 4 from 1992 to 2000.

Additionally, Todd has been an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University from 2005 to 2010.

Through their extensive experience in school leadership, data analysis, technology integration, and special education, Todd Fishburn, Ed.D. has developed a strong foundation in education and a deep understanding of the various aspects of the field.

Todd Fishburn, Ed.D. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications - Public Relations from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania between the years 1987 and 1992. Todd later pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Applied Educational Technology at Wilmington University from 2002 to 2005. Todd furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Innovation and Leadership at Wilmington University from 2008 to 2010. In 2013, they attended Harvard University to complete a course on Closing the Achievement Gap, however, the field of study for this course is not specified.
