Luke Wilson has been working in the tech industry since 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Teacher Welfare Coordinator and Academic Coordinator for ILA Vietnam. In 2010, they worked as a Project Manager for Software and Training for the Industry Capability Network. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Information Manager for the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, where they managed the organization's IT infrastructure, provided technical advice on research projects, and wrote and implemented the organization's first brand strategy. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineering Associate Instructor for Hack Reactor, providing consultative services to junior software engineers. Currently, they are the Director of Enterprise Engineering at blueriver, where they oversee engineering strategy and operations for the company's enterprise clients and contributes code.

Luke Wilson attended The Australian National University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Asian Studies (Spec.) in Asia-Pacific security and Vietnamese language. Luke then attended Murdoch University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Security, Terrorism and Counterterrorism. In 2016, they attended Hack Reactor for their Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program in Computer Science. In November 2020, they obtained an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
