Anne Koehler

Anne Koehler, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to the present. Anne has held various roles in different organizations.

From 1999 to 2004, Anne worked as a Lecturer at the University of Toronto, teaching Parasitology and Molecular and Cell Biology courses.

In 2008, they joined the Laboratory of Tissue Repair and Regeneration, Matrix Dynamics Group at the University of Toronto. Initially, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Cell and Systems Biology department. Later, they became a Research Scientist in the CIHR Group in Matrix Dynamics, under the supervision of Dr. C. McCulloch. In 2009, Anne was promoted to the role of Sr. Scientist (Staff) and Laboratory Manager, where they continued to contribute until 2017.

Since 2017, Anne has been associated with BlueRock Therapeutics. Anne started as a Manager in Laboratory Operations and was subsequently promoted to the role of Senior Manager. In 2020, they became the Associate Director of Laboratory Operations and recently transitioned to the role of Associate Director of Tech OPS Program Management in February 2022.

Anne Koehler, PhD received an Honors degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto in 2000. Anne then pursued a PhD in Cell and Systems Biology at the same institution from 2002 to 2007. Prior to their university studies, Anne completed their secondary education at Evangelisches Gymnasium Berlin-Frohnau from 1992 to 1995, obtaining an Abitur with a focus on Biology, Chemistry, and English.
