Florian Gossart

Florian Gossart has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Florian is currently working at BlueRock Therapeutics as a Principal Analytical Specialist, QC. Prior to this, they worked at Providence Therapeutics as a Research Associate Scientist from August 2019 to January 2022. Florian also has experience as a Consultant at CONSULTYS from May 2017 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, Florian worked at Sanofi Pasteur in various roles. From May 2015 to April 2017, they served as a V.I.E Associate Scientist, where they were involved in the development of analytical assays for novel protein and virus-based vaccines. Florian implemented tests for the detection of mycoplasma and evaluated their robustness. Florian also prepared and characterized mycoplasma stocks and conducted validation studies. Florian was responsible for sequencing bacterial stocks and setting up a lab room with equipment validation monitoring.

Florian's experience at Sanofi Pasteur also includes positions as a Superior Technician and Trainee Engineer, where they evaluated the Argus-Whole Genome Mapping technology for bacterial typing and genetic stability analysis.

Their responsibilities during these trainee positions included cloning, characterization, Western blotting, and molecular cloning.

Florian Gossart has a Master 2 degree in Cellular and Molecular Engineering from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Licence professionelle in Applied Biotechnology for Health at Faculté de pharmacie de Reims from 2011 to 2012. Florian also holds a BTS Biotechnologies degree from Lycée Valentine Labbé, which they earned from 2009 to 2011.
