Michelle Hewitt

Michelle Hewitt has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing. Michelle currently works as an Associate Director of Medical Writing at BlueRock Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Cyclerion from July 2019 to October 2022. Michelle also briefly served as a Principal Medical Writer at Cyclerion from April 2019 to July 2019. Before joining Cyclerion, Michelle worked as a Principal Medical Writer at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals from January 2017 to March 2019 and at Millennium/Takeda Oncology from February 2011 to December 2016. Michelle gained experience as a Senior Medical Writer at Alkermes from December 2008 to February 2011. Michelle also worked as a Drug Development Editor at ZIOPHARM Oncology, Inc. from April 2007 to October 2008. Their earliest work experience in the medical writing field was at Point Therapeutics, Inc., where they served as a Clinical and Medical Writer from February 2000 to March 2007. Before their medical writing career, Michelle worked at Harvard University's Undergraduate College in various administrative roles, including Administrator and Assistant to the Dean, from 1990 to 2000.
