Sonia Evagelou

Sonia Evagelou is a Senior Research Associate at BlueRock Therapeutics since September 2022, with prior experience as a Laboratory Research Project Coordinator and Research Technologist II at The Hospital for Sick Children from April 2019 to September 2022, where contributions included designing CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing tools and analyzing genetic treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Before that, Sonia worked at the University of Guelph in various roles, including Research Technician and Teaching Assistant, focusing on molecular techniques and forensic science. Sonia holds a Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the same institution.
