Evan Burghes

Evan Burghes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the recycling and materials industry. Currently serving as the Director of Commercial Services at BlueScope Recycling and Materials since May 2025, Evan previously held the position of Director of Business Development at Mervis Recycling from March 2022 to April 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure at DJJ-The David J Joseph Company, where Evan worked from July 2010 to March 2022 as a Commercial Manager overseeing commercial operations in Texas and as an Account Representative managing customer relationships and commodity purchases. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Miami University and completed a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Austin.
