Brian Kelso

Brian Kelso is an experienced professional in the steel industry with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Manager of International Trade & Development at BlueScope since January 2007, Brian focuses on channel expansion and sustainable product strategies. Previously, Brian held the position of National Sales Manager, developing targeted plans in the Australian market, and served as Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included integrating USA products into global sales. Prior experience includes significant roles such as General Manager for South Asia at Tata Bluescope Steel, where Brian established a market presence, and Manager of Market Development at BHP Steel, where market growth initiatives for China were developed. Brian’s career began with roles at BHP Steel, including International Trader and Sales Representative. Educationally, Brian holds a BA in Marketing and Political Science from Webster University and a Certificate in International Trade & Finance from the College of International Business.
