Julian Bell

Julian Bell is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer in Organic Finishing at BlueScope since July 2004. With a robust background in product development, Julian has played pivotal roles such as Product Development Officer for Next Generation Galvanised Products and Next Generation Zincalume(R), overseeing the feasibility studies and the implementation of innovative coating technologies. Prior experience as Manufacturing Superintendent involved managing operations for a continuous Metal Coating Line, with a focus on safety, process leadership, and budget management. Earlier roles at BHP Steel included Process Technologist, specializing in process control and optimization. Julian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Hons) from R.M.I.T., completed in 1996.
