Nima Zohdi

Nima Zohdi, PhD, currently serves as a Technology Development Engineer at BlueScope, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Nima was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Western Sydney University from August 2018 to January 2023, focusing on numerical modeling of laser irradiation effects on polymer composite materials. Nima's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering with a specialization in additive manufacturing from Western Sydney University, completed in December 2022, and a Master's degree in Materials Science Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, obtained in 2013. Earlier career experiences include research and consulting roles at various organizations, including positions as a Research Assistant at Qenos, Deakin University, and Green Solutions, as well as QC Inspector roles at Toos Hengam Engineering Company and Partsazan Forging Factory.
