Simon Biddle

Simon Biddle has extensive experience in condition monitoring and engineering, currently serving as a member of the Australian Standards Committee for Condition Monitoring since 2012. Simon has been with BlueScope Steel since November 1995, where the role of Senior Engineer Condition Monitoring has been held, following a position as Condition Monitoring Engineer from January 1990 to June 1995. Prior experience includes roles at BHP Steel as Principal Technical Officer in Ironmaking Engineering and Assistant Engineer focusing on Environment Noise and Vibration. Early career stages involved positions as a Technician/Technical Assistant and Mechanical Engineering Cadet at Australian Iron and Steel Pty Ltd. Simon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Wollongong, a Diploma in Book Editing and Publishing from Macleay College, and a Mechanical Engineering Certificate from Wollongong Technical College.
