Zerita C. Buchanan

Zerita C. Buchanan, DDS, MPH, currently serves as a Cosmetic & Implant Dentist at Dental Dreams, LLC in Lithonia, GA, and holds several leadership positions including President of Health Equity, Innovation, & HBCU Engagement at BlueSky Collaborative Partners. With an extensive background in dental education and advocacy, Dr. Buchanan has contributed as a Board Member for the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Georgians for a Healthy Future, and serves as an Assistant Director for the Increasing Diversity in Dentistry Pipeline Program. In academia, Dr. Buchanan functions as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine and mentors students as part of Spelman College's Sister2Sister program. The educational qualifications include a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
