Jim Hogan

Jim worked in the semiconductor design and manufacturing industry for more than 35 years, and had a deep experience in company operations, intellectual property, and corporate governances. He held executive engineering, marketing, and operations management positions at Cadence Design Systems, National Semiconductor Corporation, and Phillips Semiconductor.

He served on the board of several private companies as well as the Board of Advisors of San Jose State’s School of Engineering. Jim was serving as the managing partner of Vista Ventures, LLC before his passing in 2021. He is fondly remembered as a pivotal member of Bluespec’s journey.
