Before that, they served as a Technical Lead at Mentor Graphics from October 2014 to February 2018, where they developed Nucleus Process Model for IoT devices and implemented process isolation support using memory protection unit. Zubair also worked as a Post-Doc Researcher at imec, Intel ExaScience Lab for a brief period in 2014, integrating Patus and Shark libraries for parallel and distributed computing. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at KU Leuven from October 2009 to June 2014, focusing on energy-aware scheduling and memory management for multi-core embedded systems.
