Tom Matthews

Tom Matthews is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java and Python, utilizing Docker and AWS toolsets. Currently employed at Bluestaq LLC since March 2022, Tom previously held positions at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where responsibilities included product ownership of a satellite modem platform. Tom's background also encompasses firmware engineering at RT Logic, where custom telecommunications solutions for the space industry were developed, and a graduate research assistant role at Georgia Tech focused on small-cell base station technology. Early experience includes internships at Ericsson and National Instruments, along with tutoring at Texas A&M University and maintaining a website for The Antique Swan. Tom holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
