Jacqie Powers

Jacqie Powers has over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting field. Jacqie served as the Controller for both Union Hills Country Club from 2007 to 2012 and Briarwood Country Club from 2012 to 2020, responsible for various accounting functions and financial analysis. Prior to that, they worked as an Accountant at the Tahoe Biltmore Lodge and Casino, where they assisted with monthly close, financials, and taxes, as well as handled accounts payable. Jacqie also has experience as an Accountant/Office Manager at Bumkins Finer Baby Products, where they managed a small office and handled all accounting functions. Currently, they work as the Assistant Director of Finance at BlueStar Resort & Golf.

Jacqie Powers obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Glendale Community College in 2016. Jacqie also holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from the same institution, which they received in 2015.
