Jared Wenger

Jared Wenger's work experience includes serving as the CSO & Co-Founder at Bluestem Biosciences, Inc. since January 2023. Jared was previously the Head of Research and Development at the same company from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that, Jared worked at Adjuvance Technologies Inc. as the Sr. Director; Biologics and Pharmaceutical Development from June 2020 to February 2022, and as the Director of Biologics from September 2019 to June 2020. Jared also held roles at Zymergen, Inc., where they served as the Director of Process Engineering from February 2019 to October 2019, and as a Scientist III, Senior Scientist from August 2015 to February 2019. Jared's earlier experience includes working at Amyris as a Scientist III from October 2014 to August 2015, as a Scientist II from April 2013 to October 2014, and as a Scientist I from October 2011 to April 2013.

Jared Wenger holds a Ph.D. in Genetics, which they obtained from Stanford University from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification for IB01x: Industrial Biotechnology from edX in December 2019.
