Robin Chalme

Robin Chalme has had a varied work experience since 2012. In that year, they worked as an Assistant Instructor at The Art Shack, where they created and oversaw art projects for children in grades 1-6 and taught art history subjects. Robin also managed the art studio and art supply inventory, as well as organized a student showcase and ‘opening night’ party. In 2013, they worked as a Curatorial Intern at Gagosian Gallery, where they catalogued works Y. Z. Kami: Paintings, and Helen Frankenthaler: Composing with Color. In 2015, they worked as an Intern Educator and Early Childhood Co-Teacher at the Children's Museum of Manhattan, where they managed and presented daily tours for children in grades ranging from Pre-K to 6th grade, and taught art-based education to six individual classes of children with autism in a recreational setting during off-site outreach programs. In 2016, they worked as a Graphic Designer for BlueSwitch clients, where they were proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Email Marketing using MailChimp. Robin also worked as a Tour Guide for Curious Minds Tours and as a Social Media and Design Intern for RxArt, where they managed social media platforms and updated and designed press packet information and website using platforms such as InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Wordpress.

Robin Chalme attended Marymount Manhattan College from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation.
