Virginia Star has a diverse work experience in photography and art. Virginia started their career as a photographer at the Central Coast Sun Weekly in 1994, where they worked until 1996. Virginia then joined Fairfax Media as a photographer, holding the position from 1996 to 2005. In 2008, they established their own photography company, Virginia Star, and continued working as a photographer. From 2011 onwards, Virginia worked as a photographic contributor for Getty Images. In 2019, they joined Art Lovers Australia as a fine art photographer, specializing in limited edition framed and unframed wall images. Additionally, they served as a fine art photography consultant at Art Lovers Australia from June 2020 to October 2020. Currently, Virginia works as a photographic artist and painter at Bluethumb since February 2021.
