Guenther Wittrock has a diverse work experience in the field of IT, starting from 2002. Guenther started their career at CAS GmbH, where they worked as a Senior Operations Support Engineer, customizing and supporting a web-based Customer Relation Management retail suite. Guenther then moved to Microsoft Corporation in 2006, where they held roles as an Operations Support Engineer and Senior Operations Support Engineer. Their responsibilities included deploying and updating complex TV applications, providing tier-2 and tier-3 support to customers, and resolving major issues as an escalation point for the support group.

In 2015, Guenther worked as a Senior IT Applications Analyst at Seattle Children's, providing application support for client-server and web-based applications. Guenther also briefly worked at Microsoft C+E Security Engineering as a DevOps Engineer, providing operations support for a multi-layer high availability detonation service.

From 2016 to 2017, Guenther worked as a DevOps/Data Engineer at Microsoft Outlook Service Engineering, where they maintained customer data pipelines, implemented resource and configuration management of a 100+ server environment in Azure, and handled operations support for Delve Analytics.

Currently, Guenther is working at Bluetooth SIG as a Senior System Administrator and Senior Data Engineer I, responsible for system administration of cloud production and on-premise environments, implementation and management of Rackspace and Azure cloud infrastructure, and support of on-premise local infrastructure and services.

Guenther Wittrock holds a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University Metropolitan College. Guenther also obtained a Master's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and another Master's Degree in Cellular Biology from Albert Ludwigs-Universitaet Freiburg. Additionally, they have a certification as an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services. The years of completion or the specific months in which they obtained these certifications and degrees are not provided.
