Marat Zhaksilikov

Director, Tools Engineering at Bluetooth SIG

Marat Zhaksilikov has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Marat started their career at Hamilton Company in 1998 as a software engineer. Marat then joined Cypress Semiconductor in 2000 and worked there for over 13 years. At Cypress Semiconductor, Marat held the role of principal software engineer and was responsible for leading and managing the TrueTouch SW Products Team. Marat played a key role in developing various tools for embedded developers, including configuration, tuning, debugging, and demonstration tools, production line test tools, and sensor design tools. Marat was also involved in the architecture, design, and implementation of PSoC Designer, a full-featured IDE for simplifying the configuration of PSoC Microcontrollers. In 2013, they joined Bluetooth SIG as the Director of Tools Engineering.

Marat Zhaksilikov obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) between 1983 and 1989.
