Shirin Ebrahimi-Taghizadeh

Shirin Ebrahimi-Taghizadeh, PhD, is a Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, specializing in Azure Edge and Platform, as well as Bluetooth technology and compliance. With significant experience in mixed reality devices and connectivity solutions, Shirin has contributed to notable products such as HoloLens, Xbox Adaptive Controller, and Samsung Odyssey+. Additionally, Shirin holds leadership positions as Vice Chair of the Bluetooth SIG Qualification Review Board and Chair of the HID Working Group, while also serving as a judge for various tech competitions and engaging in community service. Shirin's academic background includes a PhD and Master's degree from the University of Southern California in Electrical Engineering Systems and a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Tehran in Electronic Systems and Telecommunication Systems, respectively.
