Alessandro Colomba

Alessandro Colomba is a Distinguished Engineer at GEICO, where responsibilities include re-engineering and modernizing systems utilizing open source stacks. Previously, Alessandro served as a Senior Enterprise Architect, overseeing the development of the Forgerock AM SSO system, which handles 50 million requests per day. In addition to work at GEICO, Alessandro is a Partner at Bluewater Consulting Group, focusing on developer recruitment and selection. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Booz-Allen-Hamilton, leading the FastLane team for the National Science Foundation, and as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at ICMA-RC, enhancing web-based financial services for retirement plan participants. Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has studied at Università degli Studi di Padova.
