Daniel Idzerda

Department Head Project Controls at Bluewater Energy Services

Daniel Idzerda has had extensive work experience in the energy services industry. Daniel began their career in 1995 as a Mechanical (Subsea) Engineer at Bluewater Energy Services, where they worked until 1999. Daniel then moved on to Farnest Engineering as a Mechanical Static Engineer from 1999 to 2001. Daniel returned to Bluewater Energy Services in 2001 as a Project Engineer, and their role expanded to include responsibilities as a Sr. Subsea Mechanical Engineer from 2001 to 2008. In 2009, Daniel joined Jacobs Engineering as a Project Engineer, working on topsides modification projects for offshore gas-production installations. Daniel returned to Bluewater Energy Services in 2012 as a Project Manager, before transitioning to the role of Sr. Project Engineer/Team Lead at Brunel Industry Services in 2017. As of 2020, Daniel is currently the Department Head of Project Controls at Bluewater Energy Services.

Daniel Idzerda attended the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1991 to 1995. Daniel earned their BSc in Mechanical Engineering during their time at the university.
