Anthony Iafrate

Anthony became involved with the Bluewater Health Board of Directors when he was appointed as a non-director committee member on the Quality Committee in June 2013. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in June 2015, has served on all Sub-Committees of the Board, and is currently Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee.

A strong advocate for community-based research, Anthony constantly strives to give back to the community through his work in teaching and research. In his research efforts, he has worked with organizations such as the YMCA, Rebound, Lambton College, and the County of Lambton. Anthony is the past President of the Dante Club, where he assists in preserving and promoting the Italian culture and heritage in Sarnia-Lambton.

Anthony earned his Doctorate Degree and Master’s Degree in Sociology at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He also holds a Graduate Degree in Survey Methodology from the Institute of Social Research at the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
