Jim Riley

Jim Riley is a highly experienced professional in the fields of genetics and molecular biology. Currently serving as Co-Founder at BlueWhale Bio since September 2023, and as a Scientific Advisor at Kite Pharma since February 2023, Jim has also been a long-term academic presence at the University of Pennsylvania since February 1999, holding positions from Assistant Professor to Professor. Prior to these roles, Jim served as a Captain in the US Army from 1995 to 1999. Jim obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University.
