Jonas Follesø

Chief Technology Officer at Blueye Robotics

Jonas Follesø has been working in the software development industry since 2001. In 2001, they co-founded the software startup GreIT AS and implemented one of the first .NET based Content Management Systems in Norway. In 2005, they worked as a consultant and software developer at Abeo AS while completing a Bachelor's degree at NTNU. In 2007, they joined Capgemini as a Senior Consultant and held the role as lead for the .NET competency group at Capgemini Trondheim. In 2010, they became the Chief Scientist at Bekk Consulting AS. Since 2016, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at Blueye Robotics and is responsible for technical strategy and development. Jonas is also highly operative across the company, with a primary focus on software development of cloud systems, supporting systems for the business and mobile applications.

Jonas Follesø received a Bachelor degree in Informatics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2011 and 2017. Jonas also obtained certifications in Programming Languages from Coursera in 2013 and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in 2012.
