Skip (Allen) Hartman has been an ISO CAT IV Vibration professional since 1979. Skip (Allen) began their career as an Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding before moving to VSE Corporation as a Vibration Engineer in 1985. In 1988, they were hired as the Lab Manager at Southland Industries, where they developed test fixtures and methods for accelerated 1000 hour tests of automotive prototype and production gaskets. In 1990, they joined Technical Associates of Charlotte as a Senior Engineer. In 1995, Skip moved to Monitoring Technology Corporation as Sales Manager/Application Engineer, where they were responsible for sales of “Online” Continuous Machinery Monitoring Systems (Vibration Monitoring and Digital Video Web Break Recording Systems). Skip (Allen) developed a relationship with ABB Industrial Systems as the exclusive sales conduit for monitoring systems to the Pulp & Paper industry, worldwide. In 1997, they opened the Singapore subsidiary of Monitoring Technology Corporation (MTC) as the MP - Singapore, Asia Pacific, overseeing the Asia/Pacific interests/operations of MTC and training and assisting ABB personnel in the Pacific Rim countries in selling the MTC product line of monitoring systems. In 1999, Skip became the Owner of MachineryWatch.Com, Inc. and in 2021, they were hired as the CBM Technical Director at BluEyeQ LLC.
Skip (Allen) Hartman, ISO CAT IV Vibration, began their education in 1968 when they graduated from Barrett High School with a HS Diploma in General. Skip (Allen) then attended LeTourneau University from 1974 to 1979 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Aviation Technology. During this time, they also earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Aviation Technology from 1976 to 1978.
