Cory Katz has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry. From 2007 to 2011, they worked for Telesphere as a Customer Engineer, programming and troubleshooting Cisco and Polycom IP handsets, providing client support for Cisco routers and switches, and creating call-flows. From 2009 to 2011, they worked for C3IP Communications as Manager of Engineering, providing direct support and provisioning for BroadWorks hosted PBX platform, managing priority trouble tickets and outages, and assisting in tier 3 escalation. Additionally, they were responsible for presales support, identifying and addressing client business issues, providing solution options, creating call flow scenarios, and designing/engineering BroadWorks hosted PBX platform to mimic client legacy systems. Finally, from 2011 to present, they have worked for BluIP as a Senior Support Engineer, assisting white-label partners with tier 2 BroadWorks provisioning, managing client support queue, and diagnosing voice quality problems. Cory also researches pre-sales questions related to connectivity, premise equipment, and network diagrams.
