Nikolay Krastev has had a varied career in the technology industry. Nikolay began their career in 2010 as a Web & Apps Technical Support - Tier 1 at Hostway Corporation, where they were later promoted to Web & Apps Technical Support - Tier 2 and then to Web & Apps Team Lead Technical Support. In 2016, they moved to Sutherland Global Services as an Applications Developer. Nikolay is currently at BluIP Inc., where they have been a Network Support Engineer since 2017. In this role, they provide VoIP related engineering and operational support to white-label partners, monitors and identifies capacity, quality, and performance issues for VoIP traffic, and configures, implements, and troubleshoots SIP Trunks. Additionally, they assist with migrations from PBX to VoIP systems, provides support and troubleshooting of voice services, identifies network design issues, works with various network hardware platforms, and manages the client support queue.

Nikolay Krastev obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 2006 and 2012. Nikolay then obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Electronic Crime Investigation from College of Southern Nevada in 2015-2016. In 2016-2017, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Cyber Security - Network Security from College of Southern Nevada. Nikolay also obtained several certifications from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business, Social27, CompTIA, and Cisco between 2015 and 2021. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Engineering Technology with Computer Network Option (B.A.S.) from Nevada State College between 2018 and 2020.
